The procedure begins with the preparation of the damaged tooth, which is trimmed to accommodate the crown and then an impression is taken to create a mold for customization. A temporary crown is placed during this interim period. Customization of the permanent crown follows, where it is meticulously designed and crafted to match the mold. Once ready, the permanent crown is securely cemented onto the prepared tooth, ensuring proper fit and comfort under the supervision of your dentist. With diligent care and maintenance, dental crowns can endure for a decade or longer, providing lasting protection and functionality to the treated tooth.
